AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

"Why We Love Our Leashes" was a public awareness campaign created to help pet owners understand the importance of keeping their dogs on leash. The campaign was a tiered approach to help eliminate the need for our humane law officers from giving out citations for off-leash dogs. This helped solidify our shelter as an organization that supports the community rather than create negative interactions with the public. We partnered with cities around San Diego county to use this campaign to share information about local dog parks available to the community as well, providing a safe alternative for off-leash needs.
